NECRO 241 EDEN LAKE

This week, we go back to 2008 to revisit the uncomfortable, British horror-thriller Lake Eden.  Written and directed by James Watkins, this film, in some ways primed him for Speak No Evil, his latest filmmaking assignment.  Additionally, you get Michael Fassbender and Kelly Reilly early in their careers, portraying a young couple who get terrorized by a group of young townie-hoodies.  Eden Lake has been cited as a film commenting on “Broken Britain” moral panic of the early 21^st century.
