It’s a Werewolf Double Shot! It’s Halloween season so we checked out the 2010 remake of the classic Universal Monster Classic The Wolfman. Despite the fact that this film was generally maligned by the press and the horror community alike, we both found a lot of good to take away from it.
Wolfcop, the 2014 Independent Canadian flick, rounds out the episode.

Horror in North America seems to be experiencing a renaissance. We have new, innovative perspectives on the genre as demonstrated by films such as The Witch, The Black Coat’s Daughter and The Void.
We have two relatively new films to talk about this episode that continue the trend of excellent genre films from North America.
Me and Mike take a look at Pyewacket by Canadian director Adam MacDonald who brought us Back Country a couple of years back and the terrifying, gore-soaked fright fest Terrifier by writer / director Damien Leone.
