It’s that time of year again, Halloween, all horror fans favorite season. Coincidentally, this year we have a brand new entry into the Halloween movie canon, the 2018 David Gordon Green / Danny McBride collaboration Halloween. The jury is still out on this one so find out what we think of this revisionist take on Michael Meyers.
For our second film, chose the Panos Cosmatos dreamscape Mandy. Both of us enjoyed his last feature, Beyond the Black Rainbow, so check out what we think about his new one.

Horror in North America seems to be experiencing a renaissance. We have new, innovative perspectives on the genre as demonstrated by films such as The Witch, The Black Coat’s Daughter and The Void.
We have two relatively new films to talk about this episode that continue the trend of excellent genre films from North America.
Me and Mike take a look at Pyewacket by Canadian director Adam MacDonald who brought us Back Country a couple of years back and the terrifying, gore-soaked fright fest Terrifier by writer / director Damien Leone.

We shoot forward to the 70's for Jess Franco's sexy Euro vampire thriller "Vampyros Lesbos" and round out the episode with the oddity "Halloween III : Season of the Witch."
